Vote American Aquarium – 2013 Lone Star Music Awards

americanaquarium-burnflickerdieWaylon and Willie may be from Texas and some may consider them forebearers of today’s so-called “Americana” genre, so why is American Aquarium, a band from North Carolina, nominated for “Best Americana/Roots Album” and “Best Album Artwork” in the 2013 Lone Star Music Awards? Who gives a shit. Burn. Flicker. Die. was one of the most celebrated albums of 2012 (including here on Bucket Full of Nails).

Some may claim it was the songs. Others the live shows. And don’t forget the production, headed by Jason Isbell (from Alabama). Hell, he’s nominated as well.

Take a minute and vote for American Aquarium and Jason Isbell for his contribution to the band’s 2012’s release, Burn. Flicker. Die. at the 2013 Lone Star Music Awards.

And while you’re at it, catch American Aquarium on tour through June.
