Remembering last week that I have tickets to two Neutral Milk Hotel shows in January, I dug through my files and came across this Neutral Milk Hotel recording from 1993.
Hype City Soundtrack was apparently the first official Neutral Milk Hotel release, issued on cassette for a short time by the now-defunct Parasol Mail Order.
I’m not sure which version of the tape — there were two — these tracks stem from, based on their titles. Provenance aside, you can download Hype City Soundtrack below.
