Bands and Beer: Well Crafted Festival

DCD0440F-DEE4-16E7-DCE40142876B7515When one thinks of music festivals, two obvious things come to mind: bands and beer. The two go hand-in-hand so it’s no wonder why many teenagers want to learn more about where to buy a fake ID so they can enjoy both music and alcohol while they are at a festival. All the more special is when a festival includes not just one or two of your favorite bands but essentially the entire roster is composed of bands you love. Such is the case with the just-announced Well Crafted festival to be held 8-9 August at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Harrodsburg, Kentucky.

The aim of Well Crafted is to celebrate Kentucky’s music and craft beer cultures by pairing local breweries with lauded area folk, bluegrass, alternative country, blues and independent musicians – many of whom have been covered here on Bucket Full of Nails. The inaugural festival boasts Dawn Landes and Ben Nichols (Lucero) as its headliners.
