Philadelphia’s lo-fi punk poet Graham Repulski has issued yet another musical edict to sate our collective longing for the halcyon days of Dayton basement rock.
Set to issue the four-song collection High On Mt. Misery on 1 March, Repulski has crafted a video for “Clown Phoenix” and “Young,” accounting for half of the album’s tracks and 38 percent of its run time. Using archival footage, the film juxtaposes the safety of manicured lawns and master planned communities against the falsehood of the hallucinatory American Dream.
Discordant yet hook-laden, watch the video for “Clown Phoenix” / “Young” below and pre-order High On Mt. Misery on limited edition CD or digital format via Bandcamp.
